The initiative is located in the cerrado region of the Triângulo Mineiro and Alto Paranaíba, in a 100 ha area irrigated via center pivot. The Celeiro group, currently called Fienile, is made up of producers, researchers and entrepreneurs with vast experience in agricultural crops, transformed ideas and experiences validated by indoor production. With social, environmental and economic purposes aligned, the group is the owner of the creation and execution of the world’s first center pivot with artificial lighting, an outdoor innovation with highly expressive results.
The technological package proposes sustainable agricultural management with a focus on high productivity. The main objective is to increase the photoperiod of plants, so as not to limit the productive potential of crops to the availability of natural light. The group is a pioneer in these studies and will be helping national agriculture to achieve unexpected yields when compared to traditional crops, indicating the great potential of this production process and establishing the paths of a new agriculture.
